Once upon a time, there was a great land called America.

People came from around the world to escape the tyranny of kings and the prejudice of religions. America was the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.

Now, we're the Land of "Let's Spree and the Home of to Crave".

Seven Hundred Billion Dollars. Enough worthless paper to cover the globe; A papier-mâché membrane about as thin as the skin the politicians try to hide their sins in.

 
I want to tell, I want to YELL at them all, to stand up and take their licks, like the rest of us. It's not so much that we can't afford to pay the $2,300 from each and every one of us, man, woman and child, (especially since we get to pay it back over OUR LIFETIME and that of our kids and grandkids), it's just that it feels like the politicos are rewarding greedy, seedy people, like themselves.

Imagine what would happen if those same S.O.B.'s, (Sanctimonious Odiferous Bureaucrats) were to take OUR money and send it out to all Fifty of These United States of America, divide the money based on each State's population and give it with this mandate:

 
"Build America Back. Put the People to Work. Build Alternative Energy systems like our lives depended on it. They do! Teach Us and our Children how to Build Sustainably. Teach what Sustainability really means. Build People Banks. Bank on People. Use 10% of the money to Build for the Poor in Spirit and the Infirm. But do not give the money away! Teach what a joy it is to EARN a living, not BURN through a living. Build America Back from the Brink of Stinking Madness. Build America Back Up on the Backs of the Brave and on the Hearts of the Free."

Seven Hundred Billion Dollars. It's an incredible amount of OUR money. The politicos say, "If we don't give it quickly, now, to Sprawllstreet (misspelling intentional), banks and institutions and political machines will fail."

What the hell, what's so wrong with that?

They say it'll all come down on US, that it will make the depression seem like a dream vacation, that it will affect US, the little guy on Main Street.

Hey, it's affecting US anyway, one way or the other.

Frankly, I would rather all of US (United States) be in charge of OUR money, rather than allowing those S.O.B's (see acronym above) to once again bail out their buddies.
