If everything is looked at as energy, even negative events have a charge. This charge creates a flow. Positive to negative, negative to positive.  This flow is current or flux. This flux is what changes us, is how we become who we are.

We've all heard the response to somebody asking someone how they are; "Well, in flux right now. You know, going through some changes."

Over time, the direction of this flux forms who we ultimately are. It sort of codifies our internal evolutionary DNA.

I = (+-) ETC

I (who I am) equals either Positive or Negative times Energy times Time times Commitment.

ETC. Etcetera: and so on and so on and so on.  We evolve into the etcetera of our lives.

It is the direction of energy, the charge we assign to what comes at us in life, that changes the equation. It is the only variable. Time is a given and Commitment is habit.

Choice is the diode of decision. Either we choose "up" or we choose "down". If we keep choosing "up", we will change into light. If we keep choosing "down", we will plunge into darkness.

In light, we discover more. In light, more is revealed. As the smoke screen of darkness (over time) is lifted, we start to wake up and realize that our heads are equally nothing but infinite energy and space and that if we get the God damning ego-screen out of the way, we can tap into the Infinite Universe of Knowledge.

Some call it Inspiration ("In-spirit-animation"). Animation is flux, movement, the current and it seems we have a choice, almost most of the time, to "un-forget" what we already know. The act of consciously choosing up or down, right or wrong, creates current. Without current, there is no Inspiration.

The architecture of building is just a whole bunch of energy ideas slowed down to the point they become physically manifest. There are a billion, billion points of light, energy ideas, flying about in a perfectly chaotic not-yet-real universe. As one contemplates "that which wants to be", out of this amazingly thick, energetic soup, certain things start to slow down and connect. A direction begins. A flux emerges. A start is born.

Architecture is the orchestration of countless points of "wanting-to-be-ness". Seeing them  through the mind's eye, sensing how they may or may not want to interact, trying to allow the better and more positive energies to coalesce, consciously slowing their energy enough, condensing the Space Between them enough, that the brick finally hits you square on the head as you walk through the front door saying, "Wow! Now this is a nice entry."

Same thing happens with us, I think.

We're our own architecture. We're our own architect and we're our own builder.

When I think back about poor choices I've made, people I've hurt, lies I've told, the carving of my soul into what I am not.  Well, it just makes me want to puke.

Thank God though, that this formula is eternal for just as we create who we are one day at a time, we can un-create who we ain't.

Bad grammar aside, still,

I = +- ETC.

Etcetera. Etcetera. Etcetera.
